Zuken Premiers EDA Tools to Russian and Eastern European Market at Expo Electronica
April
5th, 2005 - Bristol, UK - For the first time, ElecTrade Inc
(booth C06), in partnership with Zuken, will be exhibiting
the engineering consulting company’s full range of EDA
tools in Russia, including the popular desktop design tool
suite CADSTAR, with recently announced P-CAD
migration tool.
CADSTAR is a Windows-based solution for PCB
design that spans schematic capture, placement, routing, library
creation and management, signal integrity, EMC analysis, and
production of manufacturing data. CADSTAR also features internet-accessible
libraries of over 130,000 components, a 3D design tool, automatic
and high-speed routing, variant management, and signal integrity
management and verification. It provides users with a competitively
priced, scalable solution for designing simple or complex, multilayer
PCBs.
The new P-CAD migration solution for CADSTAR also
now means that users wanting to transfer PCB design tool can easily
move design data, schematic databases and corporate libraries to
CADSTAR. New tool evaluation decisions such as whether or not to
abandon legacy data and fears about the loss of investment made
in previous designs are no longer an issue, as the constraining
factors that previously locked companies into a single supplier
solution have been removed.
Recently announced TopSPICE simulation
engine for CADSTAR is also being exhibited. TopSPICE, from Penzar
Development, enables design engineers to simulate their schematic
exactly as it will be passed into PCB layout. The integration between
CADSTAR and TopSPICE, which has been developed in partnership with
LatimerCAD, means that CADSTAR users no longer have to copy data
from schematic to simulation, but instead work within a single
design environment, utilizing a seamless design flow based around
a single set of data
Additionally,
demo’s are available for enterprise
wide PCB design suite, CR-5000,
Zuken’s most advanced constraints-driven solution; particularly
suited to driving improvements in productivity and efficiency in
the design of high-density, high-speed, miniaturized boards.
