Zuken Launches CADSTAR 8.0 Functionality in Free Web Download Tool - CADSTAR Express

14th 2005 - Munich, Germany and Westford, MA, USA – Zuken,
the engineering consulting company has announced the latest
revision of CADSTAR Express; the easy to use free web download
of the desktop printed circuit board (PCB) design solution,
CADSTAR. This fully functional version of CADSTAR 8.0 features
tools for design from schematics to manufacture, with a limit
of 300 pins and 50 components. It provides an excellent means
of evaluating the CADSTAR tool suite.
Improved functionality from CADSTAR 8.0 that CADSTAR Express
users can now benefit from includes developments in schematic design
and library management, lead free component technology and jumpers.
CADSTAR Express users can also view samples of the 140,000 component
on-line component library, CADSTAR Exchange. This web-based source
currently contains components from 17 manufacturers including Intel,
National Semiconductors, Philips, ST Microelectronics and Xilinx
and is part of the maintenance agreement.
To further assist in the evaluation of CADSTAR tools, CADSTAR
Express includes a Do-It-Yourself manual in PDF, with tutorials
and video files to illustrate key features.
This tool is also available for budding designers and hobbyists,
enabling them to try out the latest desktop PCB design software
functionality available from Zuken.
