Norwegian Transide becomes European CADSTAR Distributor of Q2 2001

October 8, 2001. Horten based Transide has become Zuken's European Distributor of Q2 2001. The company beat 17 other European distributors and achieved the highest sales in the region for Zuken's CADSTAR printed circuit board design package.

Commenting on the award, Jan-Erik Johansen, Managing Director at Transide said: "Transidé, based in Horten, often called 'Silicon Coast' of Norway, focuses firmly on the electronics industry. Since 1987, we have established a strong userbase for CADSTAR in our area. This is made possible through the 'long life' philosophy of continued development of the software and national support and service. Because we have used CADSTAR as consultants and then kept up good communication with our customers, we know that CADSTAR has grown up to respond to the real needs of our user base.
