Half
price offer on CADSTAR 5.0 Gold Plus as upgrade path for DOS ends
February
28, 2002. Zuken has announced a half price upgrade offer to
the full version of Cadstar 5.0 Gold Plus, to existing Cadstar DOS
users. The offer will be available through May 2002, after which
a traditional upgrade path will no longer be available.
"Zuken
would like to see all its Cadstar customers benefit from the features
of this flagship product," commented Cadstar Business Unit
Manager, Mark Thompson. "Using Cadstar 5.0 is the most effective
way for customers to ensure they can be first to market with their
products. The benefits of using Cadstar 5.0 Gold Plus are unsurpassed
and through this offer we are providing our remaining Cadstar DOS-based
users with a very cost effective opportunity to upgrade."
Future
versions of Cadstar will be backward compatible with existing DOS
data but new data will no longer be available for output in DOS.
From June 2002 customers with any version of Cadstar for DOS will
no longer be able to upgrade to the latest version, as only complete
products at full list price will be made available.
