Launches Journeyman Program
Offers
Free Training in North America for Displaced Engineers and Reduced
Cost Software
Westford,
MA – Zuken has announced its Journeyman Program: the
program will offer displaced design engineers with the needed tools,
support and training to work as independent consultants while gaining
continued education and enhancing their printed circuit board design
skills.
“We
are still in the midst of difficult times for the engineering community,”
commented Tim O’Neill, Director of CADSTAR Business Unit.
“This program is a direct response to designers who have reached
out to us asking for assistance in pursuing contract employment.
We hope that this program will aid them in continuing in the field
of electronics design and enhance their marketable skills at the
same time.”
The
program will be offered to qualified candidates in North America.
Zuken’s ‘Journeyman Program’ includes self-teach
PDF manuals that enable the designer to learn the software on his
own, progressing from schematic, through PCB layout & routing
to creating manufacturing output. For those who prefer an instructor-led
course, Zuken will offer open seats in pre-scheduled training courses
free of charge to program participants. The program will also provide
a listing of Journeyman participants seeking employment on its website.
A complete overview of the program is available at www.cadstarworld.com/journeyman
