Product Description
Designed in close association with Zuken to integrate your Cadstar PCB design system with your AutoCAD (or Mechanical Desktop) design system.
Adding the Bi-directional PCB interface to AutoCAD enables the physical aspects of a PCB design to be modified within the AutoCAD system with the changes reflected in the PCB system as they are completed.
Building a 3D component library within AutoCAD from the PCB information allows additional components to be added to an existing PCB, or a new PCB started from within the AutoCAD 3D model. The library may be modified to accurately reflect more complex shapes such as connectors.
If AutoCAD and CADSTAR are installed on the same system, this updating may take place in "real-time", without any file transfer enabling the designer to seamlessly switch between AutoCAD and Cadstar whilst designing the physical layout.
Features:
- Unique "Real-Time" file-free integration with Cadstar
- Import and Export of IDF format files within AutoCAD
- Add Component
- Component Move, Rotate & Mirror
- Add Drilled (Mounting) Holes
- List Components
- Component Library
- Create Component (Model)
