PDF Output from Batch Processor

Previously when you used a Printer Driver to create a PDF output from CADSTAR the document name of the print job was used for the suggested pdf filename (e.g. “Cadstar - <Design name>”).

This has been changed so that if a filename has been specified in the Batch Processor then this is used as the document name of the print job. The Printer Driver can then suggest this as the filename. Also if the printer driver supports auto-save functionality, you are able to run the Batch Processor and produce PDF files without user interaction.

• Run up the “Printer and Faxes” configuration tool (Start\Settings\Printer and Faxes)

• Right mouse click on “Adobe PDF” and select “Printing Preferences”

• Click “Browse” next to “Adobe PDF Output Folder” and select the folder where you would like all the PDF files to be saved

• To stop every PDF file automatically being opened in your default PDF view, untick  “View Adobe PDF results”
