Plated and Non-Plated Through-Hole IdentificationThrough holes are now defined by both their drill size and whether or not they are plated. This allows a design to contain holes of the same size but in plated and non-plated versions, which can be told apart in drill drawings and drill reports. As in older versions of CADSTAR holes are identified by a letter code, but to allow for an increased number of holes these codes may now contain multiple letters i.e. "aa", "ab".
The list of Drill Letter Associations in the "Post Process - Selections" dialog now contains an extra column showing the plated status of the drill letter, plated holes are marked with a 'P' while non-plated holes display a dash. Clicking the "Change Drill Diameter..." button below the list now also allows you to set the "Plate Through" status of the hole associated with the drill letter.
Note: Due to this change, designs that currently contain plated holes may require extra drill letter associations to be set up in order to output the design correctly as a drill drawing.
