Pin Swaps

Pin Swaps may now be performed in P.R.Editor XR. RIF export has been enhanced so that the pin equivalence defined in the Parts Library is forwarded to P.R.Editor XR. RIF import has been enhanced to process swapped pins along with other routing changes.

Note: As mentioned elsewhere in this What's New guide, Design Editor has been enhanced to allow pin swaps on high-speed nets. For any high-speed net involving skew groups, however, it is recommended that pin swaps be performed in P.R.Editor XR HS. This is because skew groups may only be controlled within P.R.Editor XR HS (except for creation) and changes made in Design Editor may make the skew groups invalid.
